Al comenzar la lectura de Just for now mis expectativas eran más altas que en el resto, creo que porque quería concocer más a Amanda, pero sobre todo a Preston.

Quiero empezar diciendo que no me equivoqué con este libro, es el que más me ha gustado hasta ahora, aunque  While it lasts está bastante a la altura. El libro toca temas muy importantes, como la situación de Preston, que tuvo una infancia muy dura, con una madre que no se ocupaba de él, y ahora tiene que ocuparse de sus hermanos en un trabajo que odia. Es decír, no todas las personas tienen las facilidades, atenciones y amor por parte de sus familias, y eso no está bien, como bien trata de mostrarnos la escritora.

Ambos protagonistas evolucionan. Amanda por un lado, se hace adulta a lo largo del libro, abriendo los ojos ante lo que sucede en el mundo, donde no todo es de color de rosa. Preston, por otro lado, evoluciona como persona, amigo y hermano.

Como bien dije, los libros van conteniendo más escenas de sexo que los anteriores, y eso me gusta, porque hay que normalizar el sexo en la literatura juvenil.

En resumen, os animo a leer el libro totalmente, no podrás parar de leer para ver qué es lo que les deparará finalmente a Preston y a Amanda, pero sobre todo, no podrás evitar enamorarte de Preston.

En un principio, Sometimes it lasts me parecía un libro absurdo porque la relación de Cage y Eva terminaba bien en While it lasts, pero el propio título del primer libro deja ver que era necesario otro libro para consolidar la relación entre ambos.

En Sometimes it lasts Abbi Glines sabe afrontar los miedos y tendencias de los personajes de una manera más adulta. Eva y Cage demuestran que su relación no era tan fuerte como creían porque se dejan llevar por sus inseguridades hasta afrontarlas y superarlas juntos.

La trama está muy bien planteada, aunque es previsible, puesto que ya conocíamos muy bien a estos personajes. Este libro trata temas normales y corrientes que pueden sucederle a cualquiera. Las inseguridades y miedos entre los protagonistas son una muestra fiel a la realidad, luego en eso hay bastante verosimilitud.

En resumen, Sometimes it lasts es un cierre muy necesario entre Cage y Eva, que supera en calidad a While it lasts, donde Abbi Glines ha consolidado su estructura y demuestra que puede alejarse un poco de los tópicos y estereotipos que tanto le gustan.

Este libro como los anteriores de la saga, están comprados de segunda mano a un precio súper barato en Iberlibro.com y tienen un inglés muy sencillo.

En While it lasts, Abbi Glines crece como escritora y sus personajes han crecido con ella. Aunque, sigue habiendo un tópico en este libro, los personajes son algo más complejos que los anteriores. Cage por un lado, es un mujeriego muy difícil de resistir con una infancia y un pasado que han definido su presente, mientras que Eva, es un chica guapísima e inteligente que ama la música, pero una gran pérdida ha marcado su vida, paralizándola hasta que conoce a Cage. 

Respecto a la trama, está mejor llevada que en los anteriores libros, y toca temas y habla de problemas que tienen muchos niños en el mundo, y que tienen mucha importancia. El sexo, por lo que veo, va aumentando a medida que avanzan los libros.

En resumen, de momento While it lasts es de lo mejor que he leído de Abbi Glines hasta ahora, aunque tiene muchas cosas malas al igual que los otros, pero os animo a leerlo y espero que os guste Cage tanto como a mí.

Because of Low es otro libro de segunda mano comprado en Iberlibro.com muy barato y su inglés es muy sencillo.

Tras leer Breathe, tenía muchas ganas de conocer a Marcus, porque fue el personaje que más me gustó del libro anterior. Marcus es un personaje típico, un chico de buena familia y guapo. Low por otro lado, viene de una familia desestructurada, pero como todos los personajes de Abbi Glines, es guapísima y todos lo notan salvo ella.

Respecto a la trama del libro, es algo más elaborada que la de la primera entrega de esta saga, porque habla de problemas familiares y cómo pueden afectar en la vida de una persona. Lo que más me gusta del libro es lo unidos que están el grupo de amigos de Marcus, que cabe destacar, que los próximos libros son de ellos. La pluma de la autora es muy simple, por eso, no hay ninguna dificultad en leer este libro en inglés.

En resumen, Because of Low es una lectura para pasar un tarde entretenida, recomendable a aquellos que le gusten los tópicos para entretenerse, es una lectura muy simplona, que no aporta nada.

Este libro también me lo compré en Iberlibro, es de segunda mano y estaba en muy buenas condiciones. El inglés es muy sencillo, así que os animo a leerlo.

El argumento de esta novela es un gran topicazo, chica buena y guapísima se enamora de la estrella del rock del momento, y este famoso guapo y con un gran corazón se enamora de la chica tan guapa que nadie parece haber notado antes.

Respecto a los personajes, Sadie me pareció una chica que anteponía a su familia por encima de sus necesidades y eso es algo admirable. Por otra parte, Jax es muy controlador, y eso no me gustó nada, por lo demás es un personaje que evoluciona a lo largo del libro.

Me gustaría destacar a Marcus, un chico que cualquiera querría tener como amigo, tiene un gran corazón y a pesar de que se enamora de Sadie y esta le rechaza, sigue apoyando a su amiga cuando más lo necesita. Es el protagonista del siguiente libro Because of Low.

En resumen, si te gustan los topicazos como a mi te animo a leerlo, porque pasarás un buen rato, pero si no te gustan, no lo leas, ni tampoco nada de Abbi Glines porque le encantan los tópicos en sus libros.
